Absolutely — kids are very welcome. Pricing is structured as follows: under 5 are free, under 12 are 50%, and 13–17 are 75% of the adult rate. Some lodges have minimum age requirements for game drives, but we'll work around them. Reach out for any specifics.

Yes! Part 1 covers the welcome in Karatu and the wedding in Ngorongoro. Part 2 in the Serengeti is an optional extension for those who want to keep the adventure going.

Yes. Tanzania is one of the most established safari destinations in the world. We're working with experienced operators and licensed guides with strict protocols on game drives and around camp.

The jeeps are kitted out and ready for safari. They are closed jeeps that  can seat up to 6 people, but you can opt to have your own jeep for your party. Each jeep comes with a coolbox stocked with water, beer and wine, charging stations, and plenty of pockets for your things. The roof pops open for an unobstructed view of the wildlife.

Most nationalities require a tourist visa for Tanzania, which is around USD 50. You can apply online via the official eVisa portal at https://eservices.immigration.go.tz — we recommend applying at least a month before travel. Visas on arrival are also available at JRO if you prefer (bring USD cash).

May is the tail end of the green season — landscapes lush, photography spectacular, crowds minimal. Warm days (22–28°C), cool mornings and evenings (10–15°C). Light rain is occasional but rarely disruptive.

Yes, WiFi is available at all the lodges. limited availability in jeeps, but mobile data is available throughout.

We haven't taken them on previous trips, but they are generally recommended. Please consult your travel doctor 6–8 weeks before departure for personalised advice.

All lodges handle dietary needs beautifully — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies. Note your requirements on the RSVP and we'll communicate everything in advance.

Tourist Visas typically cost around $50USD per person. We recommend applying at least 4-5 weeks before arrival or just get it on arrival at the airport. Please note that if you apply for it online and have NOT recieved a response when you arrive, you will need to get a new visa on arrival (no refund will be given) for more details see here.

Kids seats will be available for  the entire journey.

Safari Sid- as a certfied National Geographic Educator will be providing official  letters to schools to allow the kids to miss a few days (more relevant for kids coming from the UK) to be on this "educational trip".
